The NexAI Cyber Perspective

REITs are entering a new phase of technology risk. The market is trying to solve AI acceleration with more disconnected tools. That is not the right approach. The REITs that succeed will move from tools to governed operating models; replace static assessments with continuous assurance; map third-party dependencies by operational impact; and build evidence that controls are operating effectively.

NexAI Cyber notes that as real estate becomes more digital, connected, and AI-enabled, cyber resilience and governance are no longer back-office issues. They are core operating capabilities tied directly to growth, valuation, trust, and business continuity.

Futures in the green at the time of this writing as talking heads focus on US/Canada trade tariffs, US/Iran conflict, oil, treasuries and setting the stage for tomorrow’s Nvidia earnings.

From Bloomberg

  • "Global stocks rose as chipmakers rebounded, with falling bond yields adding support after Brent crude slid below $90 a barrel.

  • S&P 500 futures climbed 0.5%, while those for the Nasdaq 100 advanced 0.9%. Nvidia Corp. was poised to break its longest losing streak since 2022. Gold snapped a four-day run of gains, while the dollar held steady. The yield on 10-year Treasuries declined three basis points.

  • Brent fell by the most in nearly two weeks. The New York Times reported the US is preparing to send diplomats back to embassies in the Middle East, suggesting Washington doesn’t anticipate a renewal of a full-scale conflict with Iran.

  • Chip stocks are finding their footing a day before the latest earnings report from Nvidia, which has for years been a bellwether for the artificial intelligence trade. More recently, it has also become involved in orchestrating funding for projects across the technology’s ecosystem."
